6N136/137 working, application and circuit diagram

6N136/7 is a high speed Optocoupler. This Optocoupler uses for high speed input isolation upto 2Mhz switching frequency. It works like other Optocouplers but different is capable to work with high speed switching. It provides a internal noise shield and allow superior insulation permitting upto 480 input voltage.

Circuit

When tha appropriate input current comes accoss the terminals (+Vf and -Vf) internal LED turn on and transmit IR beam and active poto transistor. Look the given below chart, input pulse polarity reversed by the 6N136/7 IC. If input logic is high output will be low and if input is low output will be high.
